The civil servants buses have resumed operations on Ikot Ekpene and Nwaniba routes after weeks of break.
A statement by the press secretary to the head of civil service, John Offiong said the break was due to mechanical faults, adding "the bus for Abak routers is still undergoing repairs and will soon commence operations".
It maintained that "that head of civil service has directed those boarding the buses to purchase their tickets at the point of entry from bus conductors as no one without a ticket will be allowed into the bus hence".
The statement stated that a monitoring team shall be appointed to closely monitor the operations of the buses, appealing to all users to adhere strictly to the new arrangements.
